A humorous take on the lovely London/Surrey borough in a retro Russian propaganda style.
Full to bursting with colour it features 'Mother Richmond' gesturing toward Richmond bridge and the river, her other arm holding a bounteous harvest. Two figures at once glorify the borough with a flaming torch and rake the harvest while an old-fashioned train rumbles past a Richmond Underground sign. At the bottom a retro car drives through the park and past its famous residents the deer. Spot Richmond's other famous icons; the green parakeets, a swan and a jet flying low towards a landing at Heathrow airport.
